Hi There!

I'm new to the Cat Hobbyist boards and site and need help.

I have always owned cats since I was about 5 years old and have loved each and every one of them. I have also been the person who introduces new kittens/cats to the household and apart from the odd hiss, spit and cats "batting the air" at each other, have had no problems. However, I will soon be facing a new situation in which I must introduce my four cats (three girls, one boy) to my significant others' cat. He has been lone kitty in my mans' life since he was a kitten (six years) and now we will be moving in together.

Though his present home is small, we hope to move up to a bigger house within the next two years.

My question is: Do I handle introducing my kids to his just as I have always done or should I do something different? I have always been able to monitor each introduction in the past but am concerned about this.

Hope someone can help
