Posted by: Herpeto-punk at Tue Jul 26 09:16:30 2005 [ Report Abuse ] [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by Herpeto-punk ] We are going to be buying 2 Lhasa Apso puppies, next week, though only 1 will come home right away, the other will be ready in October. Most of our cats have no dog experience, and the few who I know do, or who might, may have had bad dog experiences-- we just don't know. We figured on putting the cats in one room while we get the puppy settled, then we are going to put a shirt on the puppy that we are making in her size which we will spend the next week sleeping with, so it smells like us and all the cats. We can't separate the puppy any more than that because of the layout of the house, so we'll have to introduce them all right away. Are there any other things we can do to ease the transition?-- Jennifer [ Reply To This Message ] [ Subscribe to this Thread ] [ Show Entire Thread ] | ||
