your kitty looks happy in her suitcase. The litterbox: you might try a rubbermaid type of storage thing with a hole cut in the top for her to enter. Mine have a box which we all love (clevercatbox.com) but it might be too small for her. If you make your own from a large storage bin she might like it. Also, try changing the litter, and getting additional boxes. After traumatic events cats can all of a sudden dislike some placement, the litter, etc. Offering her some varieties might help her.
