I know my problem is probably common but I have to ask anyways, I would rather post this than spend hours looking through posts for an identical situation
Well here is my problem with my kitty, Moogie:
We used to have two cats in the house and for the longest time they shared a litter box with no problems but a few weeks ago we started noticing "accidents" we weren't sure wich cat it was because we never caught any during the act. A week ago I had one of my cats(Diablo)euthanised and we noticed it was Moogie who was having these "accidents" so last saturday I completely disinfected the litter box with javex then rinsed, then used a mild soap, rinsed again and then let soak with only hot water, and started cleaning it twice a day. Now she still only half uses the litter box and when she does she acts like her litter box is the grossest thing ever at first she digs with her back paws still on the edge and when she does her "buisness" she keeps her front paws still on the edge and then hurries out without burying, wich she used to seem to enjoy throwing out all the sand and all. Or she scratches the edges. Oh and I forgot to mention she is a year and two months

Anyways I do not think this is normal and will have her seen to my vet ASAP but I was hoping that in the meantime someone had an idea what was causing this. Thanx in advance.
