She is a big cat and I got her the biggest covered litter box I could find. She would still hang her butt halfway out the opening and pee on the floor. The way I solved that problem was to get a little pet mat. One end tucks under the litter box, and it catches all the pee that she doesn't get in the box. It is MUCH easier to clean than the floor.
