We've had a himilayan cat for about 13 years and he's always been fine with the litter box and never peed anywhere else. In the past few weeks he has begun to pee on one specific piece of furnature, a big bean bag chair. He still also uses his litter box but also pees on the bean bag. We've moved the bean bag to different parts of the house, piled stuff on top of it, smacked the cat, all to no avail. He still insists on pissing on the bean bag. We have never seen him sit on the bean bag, we only find some of his fur and the piss on it when we come home from work or when we wake up in the morning. We take good care of him and keep the litter box clean....

Is there any special sprays or anything short of a bear trap to keep him off of it? We don't want to get rid of him but if he keeps it up hes going to the shelter.
