Pooping outside the box is a very difficult problem...especially since you seem to have tried so many things to stop it.

Here are a few suggestions, or things to think about.

Does the cat poop in one spot? If yes, then perhaps you could put a litterbox on that spot and then gradually move it to a better location.

Have you tried isolating the cat in a small area with just the litterbox and food/water? If she begins to use the box, then you can expand her area gradually and see if she can become consistant in using the box.

Can your vet recommend an animal behaviorist? Very often they have a great insight into what is going on. Also Tufts university has a behavioral "hot-line" that your vet can use (for a fee which would be passed on to you) to aid you in dealing with this problem.

Have you discussed with your vet any antianxiety medications? These often work when nothing else seems to help. After the cat has re-learned to use the box and learns not to feel stressed-out, the meds can be gradually withdrawn.

Good luck to you! Poop is definitely a major problem and no one really wants to live in a house where it is found in inappropriate places. Hopefully you will find a solution!

Smile, it will make them wonder what you are up to!
