My older cat (I have 2) who is about 3 years old has suddenly started exhibiting a strange new behavior. We got a new cat bed for him 3 mos. ago and over the last couple of months he's been climbing into it many times during the day and kneading into it with all 4 legs aggressively while biting on the side of the cat bed looking quite angry..if anyone goes near him he lets out a loud whine and when my other cat approaches, he nips at him. The Vet says this is territorial behavior but I've never seen any other cat do this. Has anyone else experienced this with their cats? Does it get better over time? Should I be worried?

Thanks!
