Jaime,

Thanks so much for your reply! One more question...is there anything I can do to make her more social? I know I'm attributing human emotions to a cat, but sometimes she just looks so lost.

I just got a new kitten, Kazee, and he is a total ALPHA male!! Callie beats up on him when he does something, or goes somewhere, that she doesn't like, but he always stands his ground. She eventually gives up, and runs away. He weighs less than 3 pounds, and she weighs over 10 pounds! I just don't get it.

As I mentioned, once in a while Callie will snuggle with me, but now Kazee jumps on her (playfully) and continues to harrass her until she runs off...then he takes her place, and starts purring. I try to intercede, but I'm not sure if I should. I don't want to make Kazee more determined to chase Callie away, and I don't want Callie to get so discouraged that she will stop snuggling all together.

The trials and tribulations of new meowmiehood!! Who knew?!

Help!!

Susie
