Most likely the cat is reacting to the smell left from the vet visit.

Separate them and do the old towel trick - rub one then the other to exchange scents. Get a Comfort Zone plug in. Sometimes bathing both cats will help. One person even suggested the "tuna juice solution". You put some tuna juice on both cats and let them lick each other off. I would wait a few days while the cats were separated before trying that however!
