My cat abby is deaf. The vet says she has her eardrum thhough.
Now on friday night we left her home alone. On saturday we came back ever since she has been acting super strange. She now sometimes responds to some sounds. She meows for no reason. Sometimes when you touch her she jumps three feet in the air, where as before she acted like a ragdoll, happy to be picked up. She normally can't stand being away from you, and she wont sleep by me. You will be petting her and all of a sudden she will get really scared and back away really fast, then approach you like she has never met you, sniffing and walking really low. She has started squinting. Every now and again she looks like she gets really disorrientated for a while then goes back to normal. There are no plants in the house. No chocolate, no catnip. And she has been left alone before. I am ultra worried. It seems like she might be getting back her hearing. But I am not sure why this would happen. Also only sometimes does she respond to any sound. A friend brought up that she might have a tumor in her head I hope this si not true.
