Are you using any kind of lip gloss or menthol chapstick before going to bed? This may be attracting your cat.



Another thing may be that your cat has learned this behavior as a way to wake you up and get attention from you. You might be able to cure this behavior by gently placing her in a bathroom or some room away from you and shutting the door. She'll probably meow, but don't open the door until morning. (Be sure she has a litterbox and water!) A few nights of this should cure this behavior, atlhough it will not be easy for you. If you decide to go this route, don't talk to her, pet her or do anything but put her in time out.
