My 12 yr old cat, Bubba is opinionated and likes to voice his opinion all the time. But there is one particular thing he seems to feel very strongly about. My family has always been a fan of antique guns, hunting (not me though) and target shooting. At home, my fiance and I have soft air guns that we practice with in the house, shooting at a target. Every single time Bubba hears a be-be get loaded or the gun cocked or fired, he meows, even when he's taking a nap. And even more amazing, there was one time that he was in a dead sleep, like the house could have burned down around him and he wouldn't have woken up kind of sleep. And my soon-to-be father-in-law was showing my fiance an antique gun (unloaded, of course) and they were just looking at it, turning the barrel and cocking back the hammer, even during this deepest of sleeps, Bubba meowed and every sound made by the gun. My fiance has had this cat since a lil kitten and the cat has never even heard a real gun fire as far as we know. Anybody have any ideas??
