New Kitty Help

Hi everyone! Happy Holidays!

I got 8 weeks old kitty last Sunday from a private shelter. Her name is Pooknula and she is Russian Blue mix =) Since I never had cats before, some of pooknula's behavior is unusual for me....for example...when I'm petting my kitty..she turns her head and takes my finger in her mouth..but she doesn’t bite it..she just put her teeth on it..really really gently. Anybody knows what that means?
