Posted by: AstiLover at Tue Dec 21 14:10:51 2004 [ Report Abuse ] [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by AstiLover ] I have a 7 yr old male Bengal who started attacking my Abby of 17 years. They grew up together. However, I introduced a new kitten 9 months ago and the Bengal started marking the kittens sleeping areas, toys, etc. even though they play and sleep together just fine. The Bengal can get pretty high strung, especially when he's done playing with the kitten (who outweighs the Bengal by 2 pounds, LOL!)or after the window stalking of the squirrels who love to tease the cats. The Bengal chasing down and aggressively bites and wrestles with the 17 year old Abby. All the Abby did was walk by. I separate the two for the rest of the day and it seems to help, but it sounds like something/someone spooked your kitty and he needs time to be reassured that everything is OK. Try to keep them separated for a few days adn reintroduces them slowly and with lots of love and reassurances. [ Reply To This Message ] [ Subscribe to this Thread ] [ Show Entire Thread ] | ||
