I have to agree as well. Boris loves to hide in the bathtub as well. And if I have just finished getting a shower, he loves the dampness as he will slide from one end to the other. Boris likes the water enough so that he will stick his paws under running water and will bat at it. He also likes to see water moving. After he learned how to flush the commodes to watch the water run, we had to start closing all the lids so he could not see the water. Your cat may very well be playing in her "secret" place when she is not getting attention. As long as there is nothing that can harm her, let her play. Sounds like she loves to play "hide and seek".
