My cat Moogie's back will ripple sometimes I wonder if she has that? She doesn't really attack herself though although sometimes she will stop do a little meow lick her back and then take off. Or sometimes if she is relaxing on my bed and I pet her back she will let out a little surprised meow but if I keep petting her she will relax and start purring.
