For some reason, some cats decide on this and it is very hard to convince them otherwise. My cat recently has figured out how to turn my bathroom faucet on and drinks from that instead of her water bowl. When you move, though, it actually might be easier to break her of this habit, because that familiar faucet won't be there anymore. She might begin to drink from her bowl again. For the first few days of your move, keep her in a bedroom or room w/o a faucet, both to adjust to the new house, and to break her of her habit.
