Hi There,

You are right to be worried about your baby. I believe that a drastic behavior change is a sign that something is wrong and that a vet visit is in order.

Yes, it's good that your cat is eating, but without an exam there is no way of knowing if something serious may be going on. In a male kitty, I'm always concerned about the possibilities of urinary tract crystals and partial or complete blockage.

If this were my baby I would take him in anyway, even though you were advised to just keep an eye on him. It sure sounds like he is trying to let you know that something is wrong. Let the vet know how concerned you are. I'm a big believer in listening to gut feelings.

Take care and please let us know what happens.

Regards,
PHKitkat
