Both of mine have meowed loudly from time to time in the night. A lot of time they just want attention or to play. I had one cat that did it constantly every night and it decreased over time to infrequently meowing in the night -- but that is because I ignored him. He just wanted attention. At 2AM on a work night, I can't jump up and play. Now that they are getting older, I also hear it is common in older cats. Some say they get senile as they age, some say they get disoriented... They don't do it often and if I call their name they come into the bedroom and hop into bed and settle down. [ Reply To This Message ] [ Subscribe to this Thread ] [ Show Entire Thread ] | ||
