Do Cats Love the Harmonica?

I adopted a seven-year-old cat, Bailey, about 10 months ago from a family that couldn't keep her. Recently, I picked up a harmonica and began to mess around. While she ignored the low notes, after hearing the higher-pitched notes on the harmonica, Bailey became extremely interested. She quickly crawled onto me, shoving her face into the harmonica and occasionally meowing in response. When my boyfriend tried the same behavior, but covering up the harmonica while he played, she began licking his hands and then batting at his nose. No matter what, she responds every time she hears this played.

So do cats really love the harmonica? Or could it be hurting her ears? Anyone else find this to be true?

Thanks!
