Hi,
I think that either something happened that was terrifying to your cat, or possibly he was experiencing post-seizure behavior. It almost sounds like he was unable to see for a short time.
Either way, I think the best thing would be to take him in for an exam and possibly labwork. If he has some neurological problem you would want to find out ASAP. He may require some kind of medication.
