Posted by: Chatanuga at Tue Apr 15 09:22:03 2008 [ Report Abuse ] [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by Chatanuga ] Last evening, I was upstairs, and Chessie and Casey were downstairs. I heard a loud clattering/crashing sound downstairs. I got over to the top of the stairs as Chessie came running up into the upstairs hallway looking back down the stairs petrified. I ran downstairs and didn't find anything wrong in the living room. I went into the kitchen and saw that the water bowl (taped to the inside of an unused clean litterbox to collect Casey's water flingings) had been moved. Water was splashed out in several directions. Casey was in a corner looking spooked, but not as scared as Chessie. I cleaned up the water, and Chessie slowly came down the stairs and into the living room. Casey slowly approached him, at which point Chessie arched his back with his hair standing on end, obviously not happy with the site of Casey. Casey backed off, and after about 15 tense minutes or so, Chessie calmed down. As the evening went on, things went back to normal.
