Hi Laura,

Animals are very sensitive to weather changes so it is definitely possible that is why Kimba has been bahaving strangly. However, a cat that isn't feeling well may do the same kind of thing.

I'll use my cat, Fiona, as an example. Last year she suddenly became very affectionate and clingy. This may seem like a good thing on the surface, but it's a good idea to check things out whenever there is a drastic change in behavior. I took Fiona in to find out that she was in kidney failure. Six months previous her labwork was totally normal. She is doing well on fluids and meds at home.

I highly recommend that you take Kimba in for an exam and labwork. You may find that he has a medical problem that needs to be treated. If all is normal, then you know that all of his organs are functioning well. Also, it's best to keep him inside so you can keep an eye on him.

Take care, and please keep us updated.

Regards,
PHKitkat
