I've never heard of anything like this before. I know that in some cases, they miss something in the spay and the piece that is left still produces female hormones, but to have a kidney produce estrogen...well that sounds fishy to me. But I am not a vet, so who knows. I do agree with the others who said to get a second opinion tough. Let us know what happens!
