I'm so sorry Peanut had to get this awful disease! We have several FeLV cats that we have taken in. The most important thing to get your kitty started on is Interferon. Get this from your Vet. Interferon is a must. And it needs to be started right now. Other than that the vitamins, nutrical and antibiotic is also on the right track.

Secondly is to keep a close eye on that anemia. I can't stress enough how important that is. Anemia is the #1 killer of FeLV cats. If the anemia becomes worse again I suggest you immediately do a complete CBC to find out if it's regenerative or non-regenerative anemia. Nothing can be done for Non-regenerative anemia.

Our cats have had good luck simply using Interferon, Pet Tinic, and Coenzyme q10. Others also use Lysine, Ester-C and Transfer Factor. A few also have used Dimethylglycine, but I'm not sure how well that works, since I've never tried it.

Also just be careful with the raw meat. FeLV kitties have a hard time fighting off E-coli. So just be cautious.

Good luck with Peanut! We've lost a few cats to FeLV but most of them are doing great. Just keep them on a good healthy diet and keep the stress down. And treat the symptoms as they come.
