Unfortunately there is no way you are ever going to pursuade the cat to do "crunches". Just stick with the program and try to get her weight down with a combination of diet and exercise. If you read her moods right, you might see when she is the most playful and build your playtimes around that.

She will always have a bit of a paunch probably because the skin in that area will probably not contract as she loses weight. But if her overall weight is good, then this shouldn't be a problem.
