It is entirely possible that she is sensitive to fish flavoring. Sometimes that which we are sensitive to is that which we crave the most - for example if you've ever read about sugar "addiction" in humans it seems as if those who are super-sensitive to sugar seem to want it! Since she's going to the vet it would be wise to discuss her dietary problems - especially the gassiness.
