There is still a lot of reseach going into pet vaccinations. They say if you do vaccinate you should get the shot in the cat's tail or hind leg.
The rabies vaccine I get every three yrs for my cats. That is what the state requires. For my inside cats I got their kittens shots and they haven't had any more. The outside cats get shots every three yrs. This is what my vet recommended so that is what I am doing for now.
