There is a risk for vaccinations BUT as Madame Alto says IF you ever board your cats they WILL need to be vaccinated but again you CAN cross that bridge when you come to it. IF your cat would EVER bite, then you probably should get it Vaccinated for rabies every 3 years.
The BEST place to find out about vaccinations for Cats AND dogs is http://critteradvocacy.org If you have a question and do not find an answer you can write the Vet and he WILL write you back! ----- Heidi & Kidties CORKIE -Dearest MOST COURAGEOUS, Litta Tabby girl Kotten - Sweet Grumbling talker of a Siamese girl Benji - Grey/brown GOBLIN in a dear Spotted Tabby kitty boy suit Missy - God's and catprayers group Miracle kitty girl and our BELOVED ANGELS, so DESPERATELY MISSED Schatzi - WONDERFUL BEST of the BEST Kitty & People loving Tuxedo Standard Poodle boy & God's MOST LOVING ANGEL SynMin Minnie kitty girl -- A Heart of Gold and God's Most PURRFECT Angel Joined by Amigo loving(and loved by us) Tom-cat! who ALMOST was mine!
