I would like everyone's opinion about this. I was reading an 'ask the vet' column in the newspaper and he said that health risks of vaccinations have been a focus of concern for many years. In order to reduce the risks of chronic health problems that have been linked to adverse reactions to repeated vaccinations he recommends for cats at 12 weeks of older the FCV, FPV, and FVR. Rabies at 16 weeks if required by law using the canary pox vectored 1-year vaccine. I'm assuming that these are the only vaccines a cat needs for its entire life. My cats are due for their shots and I was hoping to get your opinions before I take them to the vet. My inclination is to have them vaccinated. Thanks for your input.
Renee
