Pongo may be a little more sensitive to the new smell or even her lack of "female" smell now. I would suggest a Comfort Zone Plug-in with Feliway and see if that helps calm him a bit. Also you can do the towel trick - rub Mystique first with the towel then Pongo, then Mystique again to exchange scents.
