What can I say but BRAVO!!!

Actually cats don't see as well as we think and they do rely primary on smell to do a lot of things. So that little kitty will probably be OK. Don't make any adjustments to the furniture, however. If you must move a chair or whatever, get the cat and allow her to sniff around the area under supervision. This will help with dealing with unexpected surprises.
