>>MY LONG HAIRED PERSIAN CAT HAS ALOT OF "ELECTRICITY" IN HIS HAIR DURING THE COLDER WEATHER. DOES ANYONE ELSE HAVE THIS PROBLEM OR KNOW HOW TO CURE IT?

Most cats have this problem because of the lack of humidity in the air. There is not a whole lot you can do on the fur itself. However, humidifying the house may be the answer (and also healthier for your sinuses!). Depending on your heating system there are several ways to go - even something as easy as putting a pan of water on the radiator. Check with your utility company about this - I believe that humidifying the air slightly will also conserve energy during the winter and the power/gas companies usually work with the customer in this regard!
