It is extremely normal for your unspayed female cat to go into heat every other
week. She won't stop until you spay her or she gets pregnant. Please call the
vet and make an appointment to get her spayed as soon as she goes out of heat.
The sooner you get your cat spayed the less likely it is that she will develop
mammary (breast) cancer. Also, the chance of reproductive cancers (uterine,
ovarian, mammary) and uterine infection is eliminated. This way you will have
many more happy years with Buttercup. And you won't have to worry about finding
home for all the kittens she could produce.
Lastly you won't have to listen to that howling every other week!
