Hi,
Diarrhea in cats and kittens can have many different causes. Kittens especially have very sensitive GI tracts and something as simple as a sudden change of diet can cause diarrhea. If you haven't already done so, I would talk to the breeder and find out what she feeds her Bengals and whether this litter has had any particular health problems, including any medications they might have taken. Antibiotics are especially known for causing GI upset in cats and kittens.
Feeding I/D is a good starting point, as it is very easy to digest. Once the month of feeding the kitten I/D is completed, I would gradually mix it with whatever kitten food the vet suggests. You want to be sure to make the change in diet slow and gradual.
Please let the vet know if the diarrhea continues on the I/D. You want to make sure that your baby doesn't become dehydrated. I am assuming that a fecal exam has already been done, but, if not, it would be a good idea. Some parasites can cause diarrhea.
Regards, AshleyElla
