Hi There,

I like Just Born as a kitten milk replacer and recommend the powder over the ready-to-feed. It has a much longer shelf life and I like the idea of mixing up a fresh batch on a daily basis. As far as a weaning formula, you can always water down a premium quality canned kitten food, or start the babies on strained meat baby foods as a transitional food. There aren't very many actual weaning foods out there to chose from.

I would feed the mom a premium quality kitten food, as much as she wants. The extra nutrients in the food will be good for her. It's hard work raising all those babies and the moms burn up a lot of what they eat.

Regards,
AshleyElla
