Since we are adding 2 puppies to the fray, it got me thinking...canned dog fod is less expensive than canned catfood, for a larger quantity per can. I researched it and found that some canned dog foods even contain taurine. Now, I'm sure there are probably some other nutritional requirements that I'm not thinking of. Could someone please tell me what they are and in what quantities, so that I can just add supplimants to the cats' food? Also, if I am correct, canned cat food should have 8-10 % protein, and 5 % fat. Some of the dog foods do have those requirements. Anything else I should be concerned about? Because I intend to switch the cats and pups to purely canned food (except dental treats of course).-- Jennifer [ Reply To This Message ] [ Subscribe to this Thread ] [ Show Entire Thread ] | ||
