You should try feeding the recommended dosages for several weeks, and then weigh you cat and evaluate the outcome. If she is losing weight then at this point you are doing well and should continue. If she's gaining, then you may want to cut back, but also contact the Wellness people via their website and see if they have any input. Also be in close contact with your vet.
