I have another CH (cerebellar hypoplasia) kitty in my house right now. This little girl is about 6 months old. She was found out in the woods near some rural homes. At first the man who found her wanted to keep her. He had brought her to the shelter for advice, and after they gave her her vaccination and de-worming he took her home. He called me to ask some questions because I have a CH kitty and the shelter gave him my number. He assured me that he loved her and was keeping her. Then a couple of days later his fiancee brought the kitty in to the shelter and said "they" didn't want her any more (translate: the fiancee never wanted her). Later, when the man found out, he called the shelter and said he was sorry, but he couldn't keep the kitty. (I think he should have gotten rid of the fiancee, not the kitty!)
Needless to say, the kitty was given to me to foster. She is about like my Sylvie. Perhaps, because she's still young and not fully grown and not as strong as she will be, she is somewhat less steady on her feet, and her head shakes, which Sylvie's doesn't. She's very sweet and purry and playful. She's also a pretty multi-colored tabby, much like Sylvie and two others of my female cats. What will happen to her as far as a permanent home goes is yet to be determined. But she will be safe here as long as needs be.
