After brushing and trying treats I took them back to the vet. She took a biopsy of the gums. The biopsy is not back yet, but she said that most likely they will need their teeth removed becasue they have stomatitis. Most of what I read says that this really helps the cats, but not having teeth seems like a huge deal to me!!! Does anyone know the long term outcome for these toothless cats? Does the breeder share any responsibility for the fact that my 5 and 6 month old cats are having this problem?

As far as giving wet food it is a little tough. I give them dry and canned food but they prefer the dry food. In fact they only ever eat about 1 can a week between the two of them. I have tried all kinds of wet food. They will not eat most of them, and I currently can gt them to snack on Eagle Pack chicken and lamb. Any suggestions for encouraging wet food intake?
