Posted by: PetzGirl at Tue May 16 06:11:30 2006 [ Report Abuse ] [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by PetzGirl ] My Himalalyan which was previouysly my sisters cat doesnt like been groomed...he doesn`t mind being petted or picked up or brushed on his back but as soon as I go to do his sides, belly.tail or butt and private places he makes a growling noise and walks away and so I dont tamper with him but the reason it is such a big deal is because my sister never use to brush him and so he isn`t used to the feel of it in those places....he is a beautiful cat and he is 3 years old and we only got him 3 days ago and he is still getting used to the dog as she is larger than the pug he used toi live with...anyways i really need some advice on getting to be able to groom out the matts and not have him scratch me....I have tried to do step by step touching for a few seconds but it wont work for a long time and i really need to be able to brush him A.S.A.P so yeh i would really appreciate any advice, thanks in advance.
