I have a 2 y/o DSH male (Chopper)who just went through a urinary blockage. The emergency vet could tell me for sure if he had crystals, but saw no bladder stones.
Needless to say I want to keep him well since a Sunday evening emergency visit cost me $1050.00 (yes, decimal is in correct place)for 12 hours of care with no real diagnosis/prognosis. A few years ago I had a male cat suffer from this for 19 years and 7 surgeries. Being better informed and more inof out on the web I am looking for natural remedies to avoid crystals developing. I am switching to canned food, all natural NutroEvo but are there any herbal remidies that would compliment this dietary change? At this point all 4 of my cats will now be eating only moist canned natural food.
Thanks!
Colleen, YokoGari, Chopper Boogotti,
Honeybunny Boo and Claude LeMeiux
also my foster kitty with CH "Twinkle"
