Hi There,

Early neutering often, but not always, will prevent male cats from spraying. Some will start spraying even before 6 months. By 6 months of age it becomes a habit.

It also helps to curb other undesirable male behavior, such as mounting other cats, fighting, and aggression.

My Freddie was neutered at 8 weeks and he has always been very gentle and has never sprayed.

Regards,
PHKitkat
