Since adopting Scotty, she has also been eating canned food, her and Scotty split a small can of fancy feast twice a day. I was at the pet shop this morning picking up puppy food for Sophie and I usually buy purina for the cats, but I was so impressed with the Innova Sophie eats, that I decided to check out their cat foods. I was thrilled to find a reduced fat dry food!! So.. though it is a tad more expensive, I know it is better for both cats, and I'm hoping it does help her weight. She turned a year old in June and she is over 15 pounds already.. and rapidly growing. She is a brat (they both are) so I'm still going to give them their canned food once or twice a day. I will update on her weight progress and their overall liking of the food. We all know any certain food can be the best of the best, but it isn't worth a dime if the cats don't like it. At this point I don't really expect her to lose weight, but my goodness she needs to stop gaining! [ Reply To This Message ] [ Subscribe to this Thread ] [ Hide Replies ]
