Hi There,

What a cute picture! Some cats do enjoy fruit, but few of them will eat bananas. I had one kitty that used to come running when I was eating one and he loved to help. He also ate through a cantalope that was ripening on my kitchen counter! One of my present cats will eat a very small piece of banana sometimes.

It is far more common for a cat to like fruits such as pumpkin and melons. Pumpkin is often used to treat cats with constipation by mixing some in with their canned food. I have a grape-loving cat who will not leave me alone until I give her a taste.

As far as I know allowing cats to eat some fruit is fine as long as they have no problems digesting it.

Regards,
PHKitkat
