Hi There,

Welcome to the Board! I just love tuxies and my feline family contains 3 of these special babies

What I recommend is that you start reading labels on different brands of cat foods before making a decision on what to feed. You want the first ingredient to be some kind of protein, such as chicken, not a by-product of any kind. You also want to minimize grains or eliminate them from your cat's diet totally. Corn is often used because it's a very cheap filler but cats find it hard to digest. Some of the better foods contain brown rice or oatmeal which are much better for cats. Canned food is best because it is closer to a cat's natural diet, but there is nothing wrong with feeding some dry, or dry exclusively if that is what you can afford. I feed my cats a combination of both canned and dry and they are doing well.

If you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to ask!

Regards,
PHKitkat
