I gave him 1 or 2 doses and he started to eat but maybe the antibiotics kicked in. My friend, who owns the 12yr old cat who is still not eating called her vet on Friday and he gave her a high caloric paste (it looks like the paste for hairball prevention). The vet said to place a strip on his paws and the cat SHOULD lick it iff. However the cat runs and the strip ends up on the rug or chair. I told her to ask about periactin.
