Poor little guy. I hope he's doing better. I suggest you give the 24/7 vet hospital a call and describe what's going on. They may be able to advise you over the phone. There is a strong possibility that his mouth is sore after chewing that cord and that may be what is causing the food avoidance.

At any rate, you'll have to get him to your regular vet tomorrow. Hopefully you'll be able to work out some type of payment plan since you are a known customer. I can't think of any other thing that can help you, outside of offering baby food meat (without onion) or some other very soft, tempting food.
