Seven pounds is not too low a weight for a female cat. Often they run very tiny. I had a female who never ran over five pounds and she lived a long, healthy life until she was 18!

Talk to your vet about whether or not your furbaby is at a good weight for her bonestructure. She may be healthier than you think!
